LUCID DREAMS IN VALERIJ BRJUSOV’S STORIES «NOW, WHEN I WOKE UP…», «IN A TOWER»
AND ALEXANDER KONDRATIEV'S STORY «DREAMS»

This article discusses lucid dreaming as a subject of the image and beginning of plot in Valerij Brjusov’s stories «Now, when I woke up...», «In a tower» and in the story of Alexander Concretive «Dreams». Semantics of transpersonal psychology terms «lucid dreaming», «oneyronautic», «oneyronaut» is specifying for the analysis of a literary text. The image of the character-dreamer
set by writers in the center of the oneyric narrative solve problems of relations between lucid dreams, reality, love, freedom, crime. Oneyric plots of Brjusov and Kondratiev go back to folklore plot about a sorcerer and captived beauty. The motive of oneyric tower is also common for them, but plot and motive has different refraction by authors. Dreams being squeeze out the daily
reality to the periphery. This situation exists at first for Brusov’s dreamers, but Kondratiev’s plot is movement from the «magic» dream to «lucid» dreams and «collective» dreams.
